Articulation of /L/

I have worked on artic of /L/ before but i'm stuck this time! i cant seem to elicit an accurate /L/ sound! My client, a 6 year old boy, produces his /L/ with the tongue tip elevated, making contact with the alveolar ridge, but it still sounds very immature, rolled/curled (it's hard to explain without hearing it). If anyone has any 'tricks' or insight please feel free to share.

While you're listening...i'm always open to new ideas to try for production of /r/- if you have found a strategy/method that works for you, please share!

Thanks to anyone who took the time to read this and respond!
